Thomas Mikkelsen has had a 26 year career in embedded systems. He's worked on bare metal projects, Linux systems, and plenty in between. He joined Skelmir in 2009 with a strong background in hardware, diagnostics, device drivers and postmortem analysis to go along with experience in languages ranging from assembly to Java. During his time at Skelmir he has contributed to development of Skelmir's flagship Virtual Machine product for hosting Java applications on embedded devices, while also defining and developing other products including a distributed application framework. Thomas also volunteers as a teacher's assistant at a local high school where he helps out teaching AP computer science.
