There's an ever-increasing amount of talk about gender equality in the tech industry – and with good reason, be that news of discrimination at high-ranking tech companies, an already noticeable shortage of women in engineering positions, the fact that companies with more diversified teams that include women in all ranks perform better financially, or because what many describe as a US STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) talent crisis could be alleviated if women were encouraged to move into engineering.

This open-to-all breakfast session on Women in Engineering will center on a panel discussion, exploring professional opportunities for women in engineering, reasons why women represent less than 12% of electrical and mechanical engineers, and our panelists careers in engineering-driven professions.

This session will conclude with a Q&A and networking opportunity.
