The proliferation of the ARM Cortex M4 and M7 cores throughout the embedded systems industry has resulted in an interesting mix of DSP and microcontroller capability. These platforms allow for computationally expensive DSP operations to be brought to lower-cost devices. ARM offers a free DSP library that allows an engineer to get started immediately implementing their algorithm. This session will examine the ARM Cortex M4 and M7 cores, libraries, and low cost tools to get started developing code. There will be hands-on demos that demonstrate the library in a fun and interactive way.
